You use PC-FR when a flame-retardant and strong 3D filament is required
PC-FR has Covestro's Makrolon® as its basic raw material. In the UL94 flame retardant test, this 3D printer filament scores value V-0. Polymaker PC-FR uses nano-technology that provides extra strength and that PC-FR performs excellently under demanding conditions.
PC-FR is a widely used material in the automotive, aerospace, public transport, electrical industry and battery housings and performs excellently in terms of safety in combination with material strength and ease of printing.

Tips for 3D printing with Polymaker PC-FR:
Use a hard steel nozzle such as the P3-D Hercules
- Use PolyDissolve ™ S2 as a support material
- Dry PC ABS for 8 hours at 80 ° C
- We recommend printing PC-FR in an enclosure or heat chamber at 100 ° C
- Anneal the 3D prints at 100 ° C for 2 hours to get stronger parts
- Clean your hotend after 3D printing with PC-FR
- Always store PC-FR in a resealable seal bag
