Polymaker Polymide PA6-CF is a carbon filled nylon 3D printer filament
Polymaker's Warp Free Technology makes this nylon filament easy to 3D print.
Polymide is a related material to nylon and polyamide filament. Polymide PA6-CF filament is comparable to regular nylon in terms of industrial and technical properties.
In addition to warp free technology, Polymaker also uses Fiber Adhesion ™ technology; this ensures maximum mutual adhesion of the print layers.
Pros of Polymaker Polymide PA6-CF:
- Warp-Free ™ technology for minimal warping
- Fiber Adhesion ™ technology for optimal layer adhesion
- Strong & stiff
- Resistance to extreme temperatures
- High impact resistance
- Minimal wear and tear and durable

Settings 3D printing with nylon filament:
- * Use a hardened steel nozzle, for example our P3-D Hercules hardened steel nozzle
- Working Temperature 280 - 300 ° C
- Heated bed 25 - 50 ° C (DO NOT go higher than 50 ° C)
- Pre-dry for 12 hours at 80 ° C
- Make use of an enclosure and try to create a "heat" room.
- Place the spool in the PolyBox during printing for optimal conditions
- Use PolyDissolve S1 as support material
- Use Magigoo adhesive stick as a bed adhesion
- Annealing: 80 ℃ 6hours
Mechanical properties:
- Young's Modulus: 7453 ± 656 (MPa)
- Tensile Strength: 105.0 ± 5.0 (MPa)
- Bending Strength: 169.0 ± 4.7 (MPa)
- Charpy Impact Strength: 13.34 ± 0.52 (kJ / m2)
Thermal properties:
- Heat Deflection Temperature (ISO 75 1.8 MPa): 196 ˚C
- Heat Deflection Temperature (ISO 75 0.45 MPa): 215 ˚C
- Melting Temperature: 220 (° C)
