Nylon or polyamide is engineering polymer with excellent mechanical properties and better heat and chemical resistance comparing ABS or PLA material.
Due to its characteristics can be used for printing mechanical parts.
Advantages of Fillamentum Nylon FX256:
- incredibly strong, durable and versatile 3D printing material
- flexible in thin layers, but with very high inter-layer adhesion
- low friction coefficient and high melting temperature
- less brittle and therefore stronger than PLA and ABS
