Polymaker Polymide PA6-GF is a glass filled nylon 3D printer filament
Polymide is a related material to nylon and polyamide filament. Polymide PA6-GF filament is comparable in industrial and technical properties to regular nylon. Polymakers Warp Free Technology makes this nylon filament easy to 3D print.

Settings 3D printing with Polymide PA6-CF filament:
- * Use a hard steel nozzle, for example our P3-D Hercules hard steel nozzle
- Working Temperature 280-300 ° C
- Heated bed 25 - 50 ° C (DO NOT go higher than 50 ° C)
- Pre-drying at 80 ° C for 12 hours
- Use an enclosure and try to create a "heat" room.
- Place the coil in the PolyBox during printing for optimal conditions
- Use PolyDissolve S1 as a support material
- Use Magigoo adhesive stick for bed adhesion
Glass fiber vs. carbon fiber filament
- Glass fiber is more flexible than carbon
- Glass fiber has a higher breaking point than carbon
- Glass fiber is cheaper than carbon
- Carbon is stiffer than glass
- Carbon is lighter than glass
- Carbon is stronger than glass
- Carbon and glass have excellent temperature resistance
- Carbon and glass have excellent chemical resistance
In addition to warp free technology, Polymaker also used the Fiber Adhesion ™ technology; this ensures maximum mutual layer adhesion of the print layers.
Pros Polymaker Polymide PA6-GF:
- Warp-Free ™ technology for minimal warping
- Fiber Adhesion ™ technology for optimal layer adhesion
- Strong & rigid
- Resistance to extreme temperatures
- High shock resistance
- Minimal wear and durable
